Differnces between vomiting and diarrhea

VOMITING

  • It is the involuntary forceful expulsion of the contents of one's stomach through the mouth and sometimes rarely nose.
  • It may be caused by a variety of conditions; it may be a specific response to ailments like gastritis or poisoning but not necessarily a bacterial or viral infection.

DIARRHEA

  • It is the condition in which there is frequent passage of loose, watery, soft stools with or without abdominal bloating pressure and cramps.
  • Causes of diarrhea include viral and bacterial infections, as well as parasites, intestinal disorders or reactions to medications or food intolerance.
